protection over the premises and equipment necessary for the running of these organisations. Ask the Lord to guide the work that all may be accomplished in right ordering according to the leadings of His Holy Spirit.

Saturday 26th. July Kate and Ian on Mission Pray for Kate and Ian as they carry out Mission Service with the special skills that God has blessed them with. Both are working for the Lord in dangerous areas of the world and need prayers for the LordÕs protection. Give thanks for the skills and talents that the Lord has given to them both. Pray for their parents and friends who hold them dearly in their hearts.

Sunday 27th. July Mark Cawte Pray for Mark and his fiancee Sarah as they attend the Christening of George Moore, SarahÕs youngest nephew. General Give thanks today for the healing power of the Holy Spirit. Pray today for all the detached youth workers, their families and loved ones, who are in need of a healing of body, mind or spirit. Pray particularly for the young people on the streets, single parents and the children of broken homes. Pray with faith and compassion.

Monday 28th. July General Pray for the children on school holiday that they may have a good break from their studies. Pray for their parents and carers as the routine of school is broken and caring needs to be adjusted to fit in with the working day. Pray particularly for those who are leaving school for higher education and work. Give thanks that the Sidewalk team is available to help those who find themselves in need of support and friendship.

Tuesday 29th. July Sidewalk   Pray for Graeme Parkin and all the trustees of Sidewalk that wisdom may be granted them for the way forward and that sufficient funding may be found to service the work and personnel required to meet the needs of the young people with problems in Scarborough. General  Pray for all the schools visited by Bruce and Mark. Pray for the pupils, teachers and ancillary workers and give thanks for the co-operation of head teachers in giving leave and support for the Christian input that Mark and Bruce have brought to the schools.

Wednesday 30th. July  General Pray for all the school children on summer term holiday. School holidays are often a time when tensions occur at home and young peopleÕs emotions run high. Pray for the parents and those responsible for looking after the children and young people. Pray that they may be granted patience and skill in treating with love and understanding all those in their care. Give thanks for the patience and skill of the teachers in the schools and pray for them as they already begin to plan for the next academic year.

Thursday 31st July  General Give thanks to the Lord for all that has been achieved in this last month for the young people on the streets and in the schools of Scarborough and district. Pray for the way forward for Faith in Scarborough Schools and Sidewalk in the coming months. Support one another in the leadings of the Holy Spirit and may GodÕs blessings be upon you all for your faithfulness in prayer for the welfare and spiritual development of the young people of Scarborough; in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.

Mark Cawte
Pray for Mark as he prepares to leave the Scarborough area. This month Mark will be looking for a new job in the Swindon area. He plans to move to Swindon in August and is to marry Sarah Lane in Swindon on Saturday 13th. September. Mark has his last preaching committment at Weaverthorpe Methodist Church on the 10th. August.

Pray that MarkÕs move to Swindon may be smooth and trouble free. Pray that the Lord will lead him into suitable employment in the Swindon area and hold him and Sarah up in prayer on the day of their marriage and ask the Lord to greatly bless their lives together. Give thanks for all that Mark has given in his work for the Lord in this area
