A Circuit Preacher unable to fulfil an appointment is expected to find a fully accredited substitute and to Inform the Superintendent Minister immediately.
It is the responsibility of the local Church Steward to contact the Preacher to communicate local details.
Fees and travelling expenses for Supernumerary and visiting Preachers planned by the Superintendent will be paid by the Circuit. Other engagements made by local Churches must be paid by the local Church.
